  • Support financial audits, funder reviews and monitoring activities, preparing supporting schedules and documentation
  • Supervise, coach and set priorities for a team of Finance Coordinators, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with program leadership, coordinators and delivery partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure decisions are informed by timely financial information
  • Progressively take on broader finance responsibilities, such as annual budgeting, Board reporting, year-end audit preparation, cash-flow management, payroll and benefits administration, and long-term financial planning

  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing high volumes of financial transactions and maintaining effective financial controls
  • Experience preparing documentation for audits, financial reviews or funder monitoring
  • Experience supervising or providing functional leadership to finance staff
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems; Sage experience is an asset
