Job summary

The Floor Show, located in Winnipeg, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You will direct month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and collaboration with parent-company finance teams.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in accounting, retail or manufacturing experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting.
• Retail or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• CPA designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function including financial reporting and budgeting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and internal controls.
• Support cash flow forecasting, variances, and capital expenditures.
• Coordinate with external audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and coach the accounting team to high performance.
