Zusammenfassung

The Floor Show in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight and internal controls. You will develop the team and collaborate with parent-company finance on policy compliance.

You will oversee month-end closes, support audits, payroll approvals, and provide analysis for business decisions while mentoring a skilled accounting team in a dynamic manufacturing/retail environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including managing a full-cycle accounting function.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience in a retail or manufacturing environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for accurate financial reporting.
• Support cash flow forecasting and capital expenditure reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance and variances.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Review financial statements, journals, reconciliations, and schedules for accuracy.
