Job summary

HEALWELL AI, a healthcare technology company, is seeking a Finance Manager to optimize the global finance function. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will lead close, consolidation and reporting improvements across multiple entities and regions, leveraging automation and ERP optimization.

You will partner with Finance, IT and business leaders to scale the ERP landscape (Netsuite), implement scalable reporting processes, and deliver dashboards for management insight.

Finance Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced finance professional to join our team and play a key role in scaling and transforming HEALWELL AI's global finance function. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Finance Manager will lead initiatives to optimize the Company's financial close, consolidation and reporting processes across a growing global, multi-entity organization. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving a best-in-class finance function, including accelerating the month-end close, enhancing the global consolidation process, and improving the structure and quality of financial reporting to better support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, IT and business leaders to optimize our ERP environment, leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions, and implement scalable reporting processes that improve efficiency, accuracy and insight. In addition to overseeing key aspects of financial reporting, the Finance Manager will develop management dashboards and performance reporting using Microsoft Power BI and serve as a trusted business partner to multiple operating divisions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical accounting foundation, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to modernize finance operations. They will be highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, acquisitive, multi-stakeholder environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insight to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Assist in the development of financial reports and dashboards for monitoring keySaaSperformance indicators (KPIs).
Accountingand TreasuryOperations:
  • Supervise and review the work of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Provide guidance on revenue recognition policies to the accounting team and explain these policies to business unit leaders
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, policies, and proceduresand standardization of policies across multiple business units.
  • Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, andyear-end close processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Support the cash flow planning and management process to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and growth
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions
Financial Controls and Compliance:
  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance withIFRS(International Financial Reporting Standards), tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist with external audits, including providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support the quarterly / annual budgeting process.
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and projections.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the financial month end close process
  • Optimize the use ofthe accounting system (Netsuite) by standardizing the Chart of Accounts and automating key financial reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies, as needed.
Training and Development:
  • Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay current with accounting and financial industry trends and regulations and share insights with the team.
M&A:
  • Support the integration process for new acquisitions and assist in developing an integration playbook.
Professional Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead by example.
  • He/Shebrings aUniversitydegreepreferably in finance orbusinesswith an accounting designation (CA, CPA) and/or an MBA with a strong working knowledge of IFRS GAAP. Public company experience and/or experience taking a company public is highly desirable.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
