Job summary

Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment Ltd. (TFSE) is hiring a Coordinator, Finance to support its TFSE facilities, including The Redwoods Golf Course and Langley Events Centre.

Based out of The Redwoods Golf Course, this role focuses on recording, reporting, and processing transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will enter invoices in Sage, reconcile vendor statements, process payroll bi-weekly, and prepare tax payments such as GST/PST.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, finance or related discipline.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Willingness to complete a Police Information Check.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification, or equivalent.
• Proficient in English; second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for all transactions.
• Deposit cheques and cash; balance against ledgers.
• Prepare weekly revenue breakdown and allocations.
• Process bi-weekly payroll; code to departments/events.
• Enter invoices into Sage with proper coding.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Process cheques and attach backup docs.
• Complete event reconciliations and revenue allocations.
• Assist GST, PST, Employer Health Taxes, Payroll Taxes and WorkSafe BC payments.
• Assist with music licensing payments.
• Assist AR collection and audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
