New Contract Opportunity – Finance Business Analyst

4-Month Engagement | Leading Financial Institution | Hybrid in Toronto

Our client, a top-tier financial institution, is looking to bring on a Finance Business Analyst to support the reconfiguration and redefinition of requirements for their broker-dealer systems and general ledger integration. This role acts as a key bridge between Finance and Technology, making it ideal for an experienced accountant with strong systems knowledge—especially someone who has worked with ADP/Broadridge and understands GL impacts.

• Partner with Finance & IT to gather and document business requirements related to ADP/Broadridge system configurations and GL integration.
• Analyze current broker-dealer system processes to enhance GL posting flows.
• Define and test scenarios to ensure complete data mapping to the GL.
• Act as liaison between Finance and Tech teams to align business needs and system solutions.
• Document workflows, dependencies, and accounting implications.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong accounting background with hands-on General Ledger experience (CPA is a strong asset).
• Experience with ADP/Broadridge systems in a broker-dealer or capital markets environment.
• Previous work as a Business Analyst or hybrid Finance/IT role in Financial Services.
• Knowledge of financial data flows, reconciliations, and accounting entries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Capital markets or securities operations background.
• Experience with system integration projects involving GL & broker-dealer platforms.
