Our Vaughan client is in need of an Oracle Fusion / Cloud Financials for a permanent position. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite.

Job Description :

As a Techno-Functional Oracle Cloud Financials Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and utilization of Oracle Fusions Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Chart of Accounts (COA), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Financials, Tax, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Expenses. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between technology and finance, ensuring that our financial systems align with business requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oracle Fusions Finance Expertise : Utilize your deep knowledge and expertise in Oracle Fusions Finance modules to assess and optimize our financial systems, including configuring and customizing settings as necessary.
• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial system requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• System Configuration : Configure Oracle Fusions Finance modules to meet business requirements, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Integration : Work on integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials and other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Data Analysis : Analyze financial data, trends, and anomalies to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Documentation : Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, customizations, and business processes.
• User Training and Support : Provide training to end users and offer ongoing support to ensure that they can effectively utilize the financial systems.
• Testing : Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of system configurations and enhancements.
• Issue Resolution : Investigate and resolve issues and problems related to Oracle Fusions Finance modules in a timely manner.
• Compliance : Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure that financial systems comply with relevant financial and accounting standards.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Analyst with a focus on Oracle Fusions Finance modules.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusions Finance, including GL, COA, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Financials, Tax, AR, AP, and Expenses.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Adept at documentation and creating clear, concise reports.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Oracle Cloud Financials certification is a plus.
