Position Purpose The Finance Analyst III will support the Regional Finance Leader for Medicare markets, playing a key role in the month-end close, planning and forecasting cycles, and quarterly business reviews. This role will focus on financial analysis, variance explanations, and identifying key business drivers to support data-driven decision-making.

In this Finance Analyst III position, you will

• Responsible for month-end close activities for states in the Eastern Time Zone, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance explanations against plan, forecast, and prior periods.
• Identify and communicate key business drivers and trends impacting financial results.
• Assist in the development and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for the West markets.
• Support the Regional Finance Leader preparing materials and insights for Quarterly Business Reviews and other executive presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Maintain financial models and dashboards to support ongoing analysis and reporting needs.
• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency.

• Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States. Please note this position supports states in the EST time zone, so the ideal schedule will be either EST or CST time zones.* Pay Range $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
