Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited seeks a Conventional Miner (Fly-In Fly-Out) to join the Meadowbank complex in Nunavut. You will report to the Supervisor, Underground Mine, and help achieve production goals while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include operating Dynominer equipment or ANFO loaders, inspecting gear, drilling and blasting, and supporting site rehabilitation with proper bolt patterns. 14/14 work schedule and on-site accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours on Dynominer or ANFO lateral loaders.
• 4000 hours in development mining work.
• High School Diploma required.
• NAC certification in mineral extraction or equivalent.
• Underground hard rock mining modular training required.
• Approval letter under Explosives Regulations (PAL/Nexus) or equivalent.
• Certification on other equipment in development category is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dynominer equipment or ANFO loaders per drawings.
• Perform work safely per Health & Safety and quality standards.
• Inspect equipment daily and monitor production targets.
• Complete production work orders and participate in stope prep.
• Assist in rehab using proper bolt patterns and ventilation tasks.
