Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Construction Miner (Fly-In Fly-Out) for the Meadowbank Complex in Canada. You will construct, maintain and repair structures using wood, steel and other materials while upholding safety protocols and environmental standards. The role includes reading blueprints, assembling foundations and erecting structures.

You will work on underground projects, operate heavy equipment, and ensure completion of work orders with adherence to codes and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial welding environment preferred.
• Underground/mining certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specs.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls/roofs.
• Fit and install doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Operate construction/mining equipment such as jackleg, stoper and scissor lifts.
