Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Supervisor, Underground Maintenance for Meadowbank Complex. The role is Fly-In/Fly-Out, reporting to the General Supervisor, Underground Maintenance, and leading a multidisciplinary team in preventive, corrective, and modification maintenance.

You will ensure safety and environmental compliance, optimize maintenance plans, and coordinate with cross shifts to meet weekly targets while upholding the company values.

Qualifications

• Must have good organizational skills, problem solving ability and familiarity with maintenance terminology.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance planning software (JD Edwards/JDE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
• Manage mechanical calls and dispatch technicians for repairs as needed and based on priorities.
• Evaluate work orders with UG Maintenance General Supervisor and plan weekly jobs.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed on schedule.
• Ensure procedures follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Verify procedures before acting and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Review KPIs and take corrective actions with the team.
• Lead by example and promote best operations practices.
• Ensure smooth cross-shift information transfer.
