Job summary

Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Technician to support residential and commercial window and door service needs.

You will load parts, review job sheets, update records, and perform repairs including re-glazing, hardware replacement, and scaffolding setup while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on mechanical ability, familiarity with hand tools, and proficiency in Outlook/MS Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Service Technician in the Window and Doors industry.
• Mechanically inclined with mechanical aptitudes and enjoy working with your hands.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• Proficient with Outlook, MS Office (Word, Excel) and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Load service vehicle with parts for service calls.
• Review run sheet to overview jobs scheduled.
• Update app and paperwork with notes when job is completed or explain delays and required parts.
• Repair and adjust exterior doors and PVC window products.
• Assist in re-glazing PVC window products.
• Set up scaffolding and identify parts required to complete work.
• Make initial contact to troubleshoot repair and/or service issues.
• Clean up job sites during and after work; ensure site is tidy.
• Replace and install window and door hardware.
