DFI Piling Group is hiring a Field Welder in Edmonton, AB, Canada. The role supports field operations, welding of Helical and driven piles, and maintenance of the mobile welding truck.

Wage starts at $40.51/hour with a $5/hour field premium. Benefits include health/dental, RRSP matching, development allowances, and more. Flexibility to work remote locations and shop environments is required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Red Seal certification.
• Experience with piling foundations.
• CWB all position SMAW and FCAW.
• Clean Drivers Abstract and Class 5 license.
• Fall Arrest, Confined Space, First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations in the install and welding of Helical and driven piles.
• Minor repairs and maintenance of mobile welding truck and its supplies.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Completing structural work.
• Work in remote locations and in-town shop environments.
• Support Fabrication and Pile Fabrication departments as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
