Job summary

DFI Piling Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain DFI equipment in the field and at Edmonton shop locations across Western Canada. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and perform preventive maintenance on on-road and off-road machines.

The role requires travel, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Journeyman status or 3rd year apprenticeship in heavy equipment is preferred, with a valid Class 5

Qualifications

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification or 3rd year apprenticeship considered.
• Experience with hydraulic systems preferred.
• Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract; Q endorsement is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field repairs and preventative maintenance on DFI equipment at remote locations and branch offices across Western Canada.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Work in Edmonton shop when not on field calls; maintain accurate service records.
