Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Vars, Ontario, is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative to promote and sell truck parts and services, and provide after-sales support to customers. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships and driving sales in the assigned territory.

You will prospect new accounts, visit customers regularly, and work with Parts & Service teams to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in a similar role or in a Parts/Service department.
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Truck and Coach parts, operations and industry.
• Positive, professional attitude towards internal and external situations.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories; most nights away from home may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to grow sales and satisfaction.
• Assist Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance.
• Prospect and cold call new accounts for promotions and programs.
• Implement yearly territory plan with target lists to maximize sales.
• Visit customers in the assigned area at least monthly.
• Keep customers informed on new products and services.
• Develop new customers at a steady pace (2 per month).
• Follow up on unit and machine performance with customers.
• Maintain customer records including meetings, quotes, and notes.
• Collaborate with management to meet budgets and expand the customer base.
• Gather competitive pricing information for management.
