Job summary

Saskatchewan Ltd. is seeking a Field Trainer for the Ministry of Highways to deliver classroom, field, and hands-on instruction across the province. The role includes operator evaluations, developing training resources, and promoting safety and compliance with relevant acts.

The successful candidate will complete the MoH Train the Trainer program within 12 months of hire, and this is a 1-year term position.

Qualifications

• Innovative, responsible Field Trainer with instructional skills.
• Ability to conduct equipment orientation and hands-on training.
• Experience in developing training materials and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment orientation and one-on-one practical MoH training, testing and evaluating operator competency.
• Support classroom instruction of defensive driving and practical training.
• Assist with creation, implementation, and evaluation of training materials and assessments.
• Promote compliance with ministry policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Under guidance, perform follow-up evaluations to assess operator competency and training needs.
• Attend manufacturer training sessions to maintain technical knowledge.
• Document training records and competency data in ministry databases.
• Promote a safe, respectful workplace and health and safety compliance.
