Job summary

WesTower Communications Ltd. is seeking a Labourer (Traffic Control) for a hybrid field role in New Brunswick. The position directs vehicles and pedestrians through work zones and supports telecom crews with general labor and line-work tasks.

Responsibilities include traffic-control operations, material handling, site preparation and safety compliance. Candidates should hold NB WATCM Traffic Control certification and a valid NB driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid New Brunswick WATCM Traffic Control Person certification.
• Knowledge of the New Brunswick Work Area Traffic Control Manual.
• Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly using hand signals, radios and STOP/SLOW paddles.
• Willingness to travel across New Brunswick.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic using an approved STOP/SLOW paddle.
• Support telecommunications crews with general labor and line-work duties.
• Assist with site setup, material handling and cleanup as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents immediately.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and crews.
