Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners, through its GIP Construction Engineering group, is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee a team of quality technicians on projects across Central and Southern Ontario from Caledon/Greater Toronto Area. You will supervise field QC, mentor technicians, monitor concretes and aggregates, and ensure safety and compliance.

Reporting to Quality/Project Manager, this role requires travel across Ontario, shift flexibility, and ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of OPSS, ASTM and CSA specs is required or preferred.
• Experience supervising field QC on construction projects is needed.

Responsibilities

• Field inspection and testing of concrete.
• Mentor and train field technicians, evaluating materials for approval.
• Thermocouple temperature monitoring, installation and data collection.
• Assist in equipment management, maintenance, security and certification.
• Complete field inspection and pour summary reports as required.
• Contribute to material testing for aggregates, soils, and concrete.
• Uphold Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor QA non-conformances and follow up.
• Facilitate training programs and support supervisors/management.
• Supervise and coordinate Field Technicians.
• Other duties as required
