Job summary

NextGen Automation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair office equipment at customer sites in Kamloops, BC. You will represent the company and deliver high-quality technical service, working with customers, dispatch, and management.

The role requires experience with printers, multifunction devices, scanners, and related software; strong problem-solving; valid driver's license and ability to travel; and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing printers, copiers, scanners or related office equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of networking, print drivers, scanning and software installation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and uphold NextGen Automation's core values.
• Provide technical problem resolution and assistance to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, maintain, diagnose, repair, upgrade and retrofit equipment.
• Manage service calls and parts inventory with accuracy.
• Complete service reports and documentation on time.
• Attend training sessions and stay current with technologies.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues and repair status.
• Work overtime when required and support other departments as needed.
