Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair customer equipment in a field environment, which may include customer shops. The role requires independence and focus on delivering quality service and timely resolutions.

You will perform diagnostics, disassemble and repair systems, conduct inspections, and mentor apprentices while operating within budgets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ relevant field experience in diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong diagnostic and calibration capabilities.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostics on power equipment to identify repair needs.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and regulatory standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and preventative tasks to prolong equipment life.
• Maintain product knowledge and mentor apprentices as needed.
• Operate within budgets and priorities set by the Service Manager.
