Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Lethbridge location to diagnose, service, and repair power equipment such as forklifts, MEWPs, and telehandlers. You will work independently, maintain high customer service standards, and contribute to branch profitability through efficient service delivery.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to operate forklift and use diagnostic tools.
• Trade qualification in Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Truck/Transport, or Automotive is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostics on power equipment to identify repair needs.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems as needed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as fluid changes and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow OH&S standards.
• Mentor apprentices and support their professional growth.
