Job Description:

As a Field Service Technician at Pitney Bowes, you will play a key role in the client's life cycle and experience. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a client-facing environment. In this role, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Field Service Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service skills, is comfortable managing windshield time, and has experience repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.

Your primary service area will be within 3 hours of Montreal, Québec, Canada; some travel beyond this radius may be required.

This position offers a Monday – Friday schedule aligned with traditional office hours, with some overtime possible. The wage range is $22 to $28/hour, depending on skills, experience, and location.

You are:

• Someone who enjoys working on and repairing mechanical or electrical components.
• Excited by working for a company with a 105-year history.

• Motivated to earn additional income through selling services or parts to clients.
• Bilingual in Canadian French and English.

You will:

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes shipping and mailing equipment.
• Support both hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce client callbacks.
• Train clients on equipment at installation.
• Work in a client-facing capacity representing Pitney Bowes.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring windshield time.
• Utilize hand tools and small power tools for repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Your background:

• Must be bilingual in Canadian French and English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time.
• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with Windows environment and basic PC/network knowledge (preferred).
• Experience with automated equipment (preferred).
