Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our Quality Assurance team and help maintain high standards across our operations. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in regulated environments and technical service delivery. You'll contribute to Quality Management System (QMS) upkeep, temperature mapping studies, equipment qualification, and software testing—making this a diverse and evolving position.
Key Responsibilities
QMS Support
- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage document control processes including revision, approval, and archival of quality documents.
- Support internal audits, non-conformance investigations, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) tracking.
- Help monitor calibration and maintenance schedules for quality-related equipment.
Temperature Mapping & Equipment Qualification
- Conduct temperature mapping studies for equipment, facilities, and other controlled environments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Collect and analyze data using appropriate tools and software.
- Prepare detailed reports on mapping and qualification outcomes.
Software Quality Testing
- Assist in testing UNI°COLD software updates and releases.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities under guidance.
- Document test results, report bugs, and verify issue resolution.
- Ensure traceability between software requirements and test outcomes.
General Quality Support
- Perform incoming inspection and verification of materials and equipment as required.
- Assist in implementing and tracking training records and compliance.
- Support risk assessment and change control processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- Provide QA support during product packing, equipment prep, and technical services.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance, laboratory, or compliance role
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, GDP, or regulated environments is an asset.
- Comfortable using Excel and other tools for data analysis, documentation, and tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Valid driver’s license.
