Job Description: The Accounting Technician will be responsible for the daily management of the company's accounting. They will play a key role in bookkeeping, account management, and monitoring financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately and comprehensively maintain the company's books.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare and record journal entries (depreciation, provisions, etc.).
• Handle tax filings (GST, QST).
• Process invoices and payments.
• Conduct various analyses of the general ledger accounts.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support management with various administrative and accounting tasks.
• Ensure the obtention of support documents.
• Maintain and manage accounting files and archives.

Desired Profile:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
• Excellent mastery of the Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience in an environment using an ERP system – an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
• Bilingual in written and spoken English and French.
