Position Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of our service support team, providing exceptional customer service and technical support on-site within your assigned territory. Your role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within your territory.
2. Perform hardware maintenance, installation, network management, and software support.
3. Handle products such as peripherals, large system printers, servers, and communication equipment.
4. Build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, adhering to SLAs.
5. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and system overhauls, proactively preventing issues.
6. Document customer interactions and service activities for invoicing and follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Canadian provincial driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident; no sponsorship available.
• Valid passport for US travel for training.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., prolonged travel, and flexible shifts.
• Up to three years of related experience; certifications like A+ preferred.
• Knowledge of computer networking (CISCO), hardware, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
