Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent service while performing routine maintenance on Canon-supported products at customer sites and in the field. You will report trends, maintain documentation, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The role requires traveling with a valid license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and completing the PDIF new-hire class. A transportation allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record) necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Help achieve branch/district metric targets.
