Job summary

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Field Service Representative I to join the Brampton Equipment & Automation team. The role focuses on installations, maintenance and repairs of site equipment, supporting biomedical engineering efforts across the organization.

You will coordinate resources, contribute to process improvements, and manage asset databases while ensuring safe operation and service quality.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education in Biomedical Electronics Technology or related field at technician/technologist level.
• Knowledge of biomedical safety and electrical safety codes is an asset.
• Up to 2 years' experience in health-related operations or regulated environments.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources to implement the equipment program.
• Propose program and process improvements to the Supervisor.
• Maintain computerized asset management database records and training documentation.
• Maintain equipment, parts inventory and test equipment asset management database; perform adhoc maintenance and repairs.
