Job summary

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Field Service Representative I in Brampton to support the Equipment & Automation team. You will handle installations, maintenance, and repairs of site equipment while coordinating internal/external resources and maintaining asset records.

The role requires Biomedical Electronics Technology education, safety knowledge, and strong communication with customers. Travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Secondary education in Biomedical Electronics Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of biomedical safety and electrical safety codes is an asset.
• Up to 2 years' experience in health-related operations or regulated environments.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills for internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Installations, maintenance and repairs of site equipment.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to implement the equipment program.
• Propose program and process improvements to the direct Supervisor.
• Maintain computerized asset management records and training documentation.
• Maintain equipment, parts inventory and test equipment database; perform ad hoc maintenance.
