Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle electro-mechanical faults, low-voltage wiring, and aluminum-framed glazing hardware while delivering excellent customer service.

You will participate in safety-focused training, pursue AAADM certification, and may rotate on-call duties after qualification and training.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Strong safety focus and teamwork orientation.
Ability to lift and use power tools as required.

Responsibilities

Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
