Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves to travel and provide exceptional customer service? IPS is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, no day will be the same. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while delivering top-notch service to our customers. You'll work alongside some of the best technicians in the industry, utilizing the latest technology tools and equipment. Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Perform service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrate strong repair skills and commitment to providing an unmatched customer experience.
• Provide mechanical services on electric motor repairs and rebuild electrical power products.
• Work safely alone and as part of a team, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
• Inspect and test electro-mechanical equipment using electronic testing tools such as Megger, PdMA, MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO.
• Install and remove AC and DC electric motors, laser alignment equipment, and read precision measuring tools.
• Clean electro-mechanical equipment using bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning.
• Maintain a professional environment with strong customer-facing skills.
• Complete work in compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience.
• Preferred: PdMA testing experience, Level I Vibration Analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow procedures, and apply analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and be on call.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and percentages.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally and overnight.
• Optional: OEM VFD Drive certifications (Eaton, ABB, Toshiba, Yaskawa, etc.).
• Requires 3+ years of driving experience.
