Qualifications

Our field technicians are the face of ReapAir Compressor Services. As a technician, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, meeting customer needs, and building strong relationships.

Repairs, maintenance, and service are performed at client sites in Southwestern Ontario, specifically in the London area and in the GTA.

Your role in our team:

Reporting to the Service Manager and Service Coordinator, the Service Technician responds to various service calls, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. Travel to customer sites is required, with a service vehicle provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair compressor components/issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, dryers, tanks, filters, drains, fans, motors, etc.
  • Provide professional service adhering to "Customer first and first time right" principles
  • Install and start-up air compressors
  • Meet time frame targets for service, maintenance, and breakdowns
  • Communicate equipment status with clients
  • Document work performed thoroughly
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical ability to handle all aspects of the job, including climbing ladders and carrying equipment, is required. Overtime and on-call work, including occasional travel and overnight stays, may be necessary.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Training in industrial, mechanical, pneumatic, or millwright equipment
  • Experience with compressor servicing or related fields
  • Knowledge of industrial air compressor components and systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Fluent in English (reading and writing)
