Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver field service support, commissioning, and troubleshooting of high and medium voltage systems. The role involves travel to customer sites, testing, calibration, and providing the best technical solutions while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will guide installations, startup, maintenance, repair, and training, mentor technicians, and coordinate with engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems.
• Willingness to travel to the United States for training; driver’s license required; Kamloops-based role with travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service engineering, technical assistance, scheduling and sales support to customers for installation, testing, startup, maintenance, repair, training and modification of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Perform tests, calibration, and checks to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians to complete jobs and ensure safety policies are followed.
