Eaton\u2019s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (Canada) is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Winnipeg, MB team. This on-site role requires local travel to customer sites, with a company truck, phone and laptop provided.

You\'ll perform on-site preventive maintenance and repairs on UPS and related equipment, while supporting customers with technical guidance. Qualifications include a college diploma or Red Seal, at least 1 year of UPS or electronics experience, and you must

Qualifications

• Basic Required Qualifications: College degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering Technology OR Red Seal (309A) Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician Certification/Ticket.
• One (1) year of experience with UPS (uninterruptable power supplies) OR battery technologies OR electronics.
• Candidates must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs emergency and preventive maintenance and installation on a 24/7 on-call basis with regional responsibility.
• Responsible for performing on-site or in-house servicing and repair of company products.
• Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
