Role Overview

As the Retail Field Sales Expert, you will be the eyes, ears, and hands at retail for Reckitt. You will bring your passion and energy for retail sales to work with you every day, interacting with store managers to ensure our brands are well represented, available on shelf, and properly displayed. The successful candidate will own the Toronto FT Territory.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven ability to develop positive and productive working relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with many stakeholders and take direction well
  • Ownership and accountability of your retail territory; plan to succeed
  • Access to a vehicle and ability to make multiple store visits each day
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday during retail daytime hours (approximately 40 hours weekly)
Responsibilities
  • Complete call reports and ongoing training requirements in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
  • Collaborate with store managers to resolve out-of-stock issues
  • Review store-level data to build sales cases for store managers
  • Merchandise and stock shelves as required
  • Build brand presence through interactions with new and existing customers
  • Assist and support customers with questions or concerns
  • Present, promote, and sell products
  • Understand KPI targets and work to achieve them during every call
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Maintain regular communication with the Field Manager via email and phone
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Field Sales Representative in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company
  • Experience using mobile devices for reporting (tablets or smart devices)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maximize sales opportunities
  • Ability to create productive, long-lasting relationships with store managers
  • Self-motivated and driven to meet annual targets
