Job summary

Denison Mines Corp. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform essential maintenance across roads, mine sites, and plant operations. The role emphasizes safety, adaptability and willingness to learn varied tasks in a mining environment.

The successful candidate will handle reagent haulage, snow removal, equipment servicing, and CMMS-driven preventive maintenance, while collaborating with a safety-focused team in Elliot Lake.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety and positive safety culture.
• Preference for technical degrees, diplomas, certificates or trade designations.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in computer applications, e.g. MS Office and CMMS.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise workloads with urgency.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and job hazard analysis for safe work.
• Ensure permits are obtained and defects corrected promptly.
• Maintain roads, mine sites and equipment including plant operations.
• Assist with reagent haulage, snow removal, and herbicide application as needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance on pumps, valves, gauges and tanks.
• Operate or assist with generators, forklifts, skid steers and other heavy tools.
• Utilize CMMS for preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Participate in on-call rotation with the team.
