As a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - Field Service - CES), you’ll perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. You will have opportunities to improve, challenge yourself, and advance to higher levels of Service Technician and leadership roles within our Service Department. Providing exceptional customer service is a key expectation for all team members.

What You'll Do

• Perform safe maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various customer equipment and tools, exercising a high degree of independent judgment.
• Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly on a daily basis.
• Upsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment to customers.
• Travel to customer sites for repair and maintenance; keep your service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and engines.
• Own tools applicable to the position.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
