Sunbelt Rentals the fastest growing rental business in North America is seeking a Road Mechanic.

This Road mechanic / technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs at the customer's location equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The equipment involved mainly consist of mobile utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks and cable placing equipment. This role will also be working in the shop when there are no field calls.

Education or experience that prepares you for success :

• Journeymen or apprentice Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment repair technician.

Canadian Utility Fleet Mechanic certification is an asset.

3-5 Years experience in the utility industry is an asset.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities you may rely on :

• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors / outdoors when required by the job.
