GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, executing brand strategies, and maintaining standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Achieve sales, distribution, and productivity targets for assigned brand collections.
  2. Develop and follow an effective call plan to visit customers regularly, maintaining a 4-12 week rotation or less.
  3. Ensure brand visual merchandising is up-to-date and reflects brand positioning.
  4. Log visits in the One Sales Suite system.
  5. Use reports, training, samples, and hardware/software to manage customer relationships and enhance sales.
  6. Manage distribution proactively based on brand guidelines.
  7. Build strong relationships within customer practices and businesses.
  8. Conduct customer training to reinforce brand knowledge and messaging.
  9. Stay current on industry trends.
  10. Maintain existing customer relationships and prospect for new ones.
  11. Collaborate with sales teams for broader programs.
  12. Represent Luxottica at trade shows.
  13. Develop business plans leveraging Luxottica Rewards and resources.
  14. Report metrics regularly to leadership.
  15. Participate in training, meetings, and events.
  16. Organize trunk shows and events to promote brands and increase sales.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience with proven results.
  • Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven sales performance and revenue growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Effective training and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive challenge anticipation.
  • Proficiency in PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Significant field time with potential overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and work eligibility in the US.
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
