Job Details

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards of practice.
4. Provide patient/caregivers education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
6. Provide reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.
7. Communicate and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
8. Communicate effectively with Patients/Caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.
9. Participate in team web-based meetings/training sessions to maintain and enhance professional standards.
10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
11. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.
12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
13. Travel within your designated area to meet operational needs.
14. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions.
15. Follow all Health and Safety standards as per provincial regulations.
16. Complete ongoing and annual education training within specified timeframes.
17. Perform other related duties as required by Innomar.
18. May be required to be on standby/on call to meet service needs.

Experience And Educational Requirements

1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
2. 1 year experience in IV initiation.
3. Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare setting.
5. ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are assets.
6. Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, MS Word, and other computer programs.
7. Access to internet connection.
8. Knowledge of cell phone use for appointments and communication.
9. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
10. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
11. Able to travel within the geographical boundary.

1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
2. Business and financial acumen is an asset.
3. Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
4. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
5. Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues effectively.
6. Excellent presentation skills.
7. Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
8. Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contacts with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
