Job summary

Boutique of Leathers (BOL) is seeking an energetic, organized and hands-on Events & Merchandising Coordinator to support the HO Management Team with the planning, coordination and execution of BOL's outdoor events, retail and mall marketing initiatives, and visual merchandising programs across all BOL locations.

This field-based role requires regular travel between BOL stores, shopping malls and event locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in events, retail, merchandising or marketing.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willing to travel between stores, malls and events.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating outdoor events, festivals, fairs, pop-ups and other event opportunities.
• Coordinate event logistics, schedules, transportation, materials, setup and teardown.
• Set up and maintain professional booths, displays and signage.
• Coordinate with event organizers, vendors and staff.
• Attend events to support execution and resolve logistical issues.
• Maintain an organized event calendar and provide updates to the HO Management Team.
• Coordinate with mall marketing departments regarding events, promotions and marketing opportunities.
• Assist with mall-wide events and marketing programs.
• Coordinate promotional signage, posters, displays and marketing materials for all BOL locations.
• Ensure marketing materials are delivered, installed and displayed correctly.
• Track marketing deadlines and provide updates to the HO Management Team.
• Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards across all stores.
• Coordinate seasonal, promotional and special displays, including windows, tables, walls and fixtures.
• Visit stores to review visual merchandising and assist with updates.
• Work with Store Managers and store teams on merchandising projects.
• Photograph displays and provide updates or identify areas requiring attention.
• Support merchandising for new stores, renovations and relocations.
