Job summary

Regulvar Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Field Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot our automation systems. You will work on building control solutions, perform start-ups, and tune PID loops while focusing on energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of building mechanical / electrical systems.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and direct digital controllers (DDC).
• Knowledge of electronic components.
• Knowledge in general-purpose programming languages such as BASIC and C++.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Knowledge of the Office suite.
• Must be available to work full-time in Sudbury and travel within Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor building control solutions for energy efficiency.
• Test and verify installation quality.
• Start up systems and document processes.
• Tune PID loops.
• Program Delta digital control systems.
• Make graphical modifications.
• Calibrate and maintain detectors and actuators.
• Provide product lifecycle service: troubleshoot, repair, train users.
• Install and terminate control devices: panels, sensors, relays.
• Install wires and conduits.
• Follow health and safety policies.
