Job summary

JET Automation Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to own controls design, commissioning and startup for custom machines and robotic cells.

You will develop PLC and HMI code (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff), produce I/O lists and schematics with the electrical team, and commission equipment on customer sites across Ontario.

Travel to customer sites will be occasional, and collaboration with the panel shop will be necessary to support factory acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in controls, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• 3+ years machine-controls experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable troubleshooting live equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s licence and passport for occasional travel.
