Job summary

Régulvar seeks a field service technician to work directly at client sites, troubleshooting and maintaining building automation systems to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate holds a DEC in Building Mechanics or related field and can program controllers, configure networks, and provide technical support. Proficiency in English and French is required, and a valid Class 5 license is essential. Régulvar offers growth, training, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• DEC required in related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under service contracts.
• Participate in project commissioning activities.
• Program controllers and control systems.
• Configure and integrate network communications.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients.
• Apply building automation and control best practices while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry best practices.
