Job description

As a Field Coordinator, you are expected to:

  1. Conduct on-site walkthroughs to inspect, validate, and test field-installed devices and systems to verify functionality and compliance with project specifications.
  2. Document findings, including noting any deficiencies and recommended corrective actions.
  3. Mark up construction drawings based on actual site conditions and support updates to construction documentation.
  4. Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment used on-site, track outstanding items, and report any shortages.
  5. Collaborate with project managers to address issues, manage expectations, and ensure smooth project transitions.
  6. Support project managers and field staff in preparing the final commissioning submission package.
  7. Assist in completing detailed reports and other documentation required for the project.
  8. Adhere to and carry out all safety requirements by the client, as well as follow all of Plan Group's safety guidelines.

Our ideal candidate has:

  1. A post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering or related field, with experience in the electrical / IT / operational technology / construction industry.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, Bluebeam.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  5. Ability to work on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Comfortable working on active construction sites.
