As a Field Claims Advisor, Major Losses, you help oversee and maintain business relationships with members and clients for any claim following a loss. In your role, you handle claims for home and business members and clients for major losses and special risks. You investigate the circumstances and approve claims. Your complex work requires extensive knowledge of your line of business. Using your ability to make quality decisions, you develop solutions, negotiate settlements and reach agreements with the member or client, a third party or any other stakeholder. You advise and support clients, represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.
