We are currently hiring for Field Adjusters to join our Property Claims team in the Greater Vancouver Area .

What you’ll do :

• Complete on-site and / or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
• Capture the scope of damages and quantify repair estimates to settle claims.
• Reconcile and validate vendor estimates to ensure price and scope are appropriate.
• Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers to obtain facts and information.
• Review facts, policy, technical reports, fire marshal reports, case law, to make decisions on coverage, value of the claim, and negotiate / settle the claim accordingly.
• Provide exemplary customer service and keep related parties informed of the claims status, working towards quick resolution.
• Ensure data accuracy, issue payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies.
• Assist during CAT events within Canada.

What you’ll bring :

• 2+ years experience as an adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial lines claims.
• Strong background in Property Insurance and Customer Service.
• Ability to scope damages and prepare repair estimates is preferred.
• Good PC skills and adaptability to new technology – Hover experience considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
