Join Our Team as a Field Adjuster - Property Claims - Greater Vancouver Area

Aviva Canada is hiring Field Adjusters to join our Property Claims team in the Greater Vancouver Area. We value our core principles : Care, Commitment, Community, and Confidence, which guide us in providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
• Determine the scope of damages and prepare repair estimates to settle claims.
• Validate vendor estimates to ensure accuracy in pricing and scope.
• Investigate claims by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and legal representatives.
• Review relevant facts, policies, technical reports, fire marshall reports, and case law to assess coverage, claim value, and negotiate settlements.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep all parties informed throughout the claims process.
• Ensure data accuracy, issue payments, and assist during catastrophic events across Canada.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience handling Personal and Commercial Lines claims.
• Strong background in Property Insurance and Customer Service.
• Ability to scope damages and prepare repair estimates is preferred.
• Proficient with PC and adaptable to new technology; experience with Hover is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Salary range from $55,600 to $103,200, based on experience and skills.
