We are currently hiring for Field Adjusters to join our Property Claims team in the Greater Toronto Area: Greater Vancouver Area.

What you’ll do:
- Complete on-site and/or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
- Capture the scope of damages and quantify repair estimates to settle claims.
- Reconcile and validate vendor estimates to ensure price and scope are appropriate.
- Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers to obtain facts and information.
- Review facts, policies, technical reports, fire marshal reports, and case law to make decisions on coverage, claim value, and negotiate/settle claims accordingly.
- Provide exemplary customer service and keep related parties informed of the claims status while working to bring claims to a successful resolution quickly.
- Ensure data accuracy, issue payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies.
- Assist during CATs within Canada.
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years of experience as an adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial Lines claims.
- Strong background in Property Insurance and Customer Service.
- Preference given to candidates capable of scoping damages and preparing repair estimates.
- Good PC skills and adaptability with new technology – experience with Hover considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
