We are currently hiring for Field Adjusters to join our Property Claims team. This role will be home-based, and we are looking for field adjusters in the Greater Toronto Area!

What you’ll do:

1. Complete on-site and/or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
2. Capture the scope of damages and write repair estimates to settle claims.
3. Reconcile and validate vendor estimates to ensure price and scope are appropriate.
4. Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers to obtain facts and information.
5. Review facts, policies, technical reports, fire marshal reports, case law, and make decisions on coverage, claim value, and negotiate/settle claims accordingly.
6. Provide exemplary customer service and keep related parties informed of the claims status.
7. Ensure data accuracy and facilitate the issuance of payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies.
8. Assist during CATs within Canada.
9. Correspond with third parties, lawyers, insureds, brokers, and other stakeholders involved in claim settlement.

What you’ll bring:

1. 2+ years of experience as a Field Adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial Lines claims.
2. Strong background in Property Insurance.
3. Ability to scope damages and prepare repair estimates is preferred.
4. Good PC skills and adaptability to new technology.
5. Valid driver’s license.
