Field Adjuster - Property Claims - Greater Toronto Area

Overview

We are hiring Field Adjusters for our Property Claims team in the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Toronto, and Brampton. Join our team and help us deliver exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct on-site and virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
• Determine the scope of damages and prepare repair estimates to settle claims.
• Validate vendor estimates to ensure accuracy in pricing and scope.
• Meet with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers to gather facts and information.
• Review policy details, technical reports, fire marshal reports, and case law to assess coverage, claim value, and negotiate settlements.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep all parties informed throughout the claims process.
• Ensure data accuracy and manage payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance entities.
• Assist during catastrophic events within Canada.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 2 years of experience handling Personal Lines and Commercial Lines claims.
• Strong background in Property Insurance and Customer Service.
• Ability to scope damages and prepare repair estimates is preferred.
• Proficiency with PC and adaptability to new technology; experience with Hover is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
